KunstRoute Sint Anthonis app for iPhone and iPad

KunstRoute App is an interactive art ateliers guide based on the location detection by means of iBeacons, placed within artist ateliers along the Kunst Route in Sint Anthonis in The Netherlands.
It helps to gather and browse information about the actually visited artist, while the information is displayed according to the location.
It is essential that the user will receive a notification alert on approaching an art studio, inviting her/him to visit the artist, even if the application is not running, or even killed. This requires continued use of location services running in the background. Please note, that running these services may dramatically decrease battery life.
The user receives notifications and alerts also when leaving an atelier.

This version of the App is designed for the Kunst Route 2015, organised by the Kunstkring Sint Anthonis. It is an every year event, with different participants.

The App is build for iPhone, with iOS 7.1 or newer, and requires Bluetooth (LE) switched on.
It is stand alone, the data are available off-line.
If the Internet is available, additional information via web sites (if needed) can be browsed.
